Parkway Villages, a residential real estate development begun by Sueba in the early 90s, is a cluster of eleven gated enclaves on about 200 acres between Eldridge Parkway and Highway 6 just south of Buffalo Bayou.
Its "villages" offer a multitude of luxury-home choices within its gated communities, ranging from patio and villa homes to larger single-family and custom estate homes. The neighborhood boasts nine lakes, a recreation center with a pool and tennis courts, and 24-hour, on-site security.
Enclave Lake is a small gated area of 54 custom estate homes surrounding a lake with a beautiful 18-foot waterfall. Other choices include the gated communities of Maplewood Park, with 46 homesites, and Laguna Springs, a 17-home enclave. The Retreat, The Villages and The Courts are patio-home developments offering low-maintenance living on a more compact scale. Equally distinctive are the communities and enclaves of Tracewood Park, Charlton Park, Windsor Cove, Sienna Cove, Madera Vista, and Briarstone Court that offer even more style, price and amenities choices.
Area children attend Houston Independent School District schools. Terry Hershey Park, with eight miles of hiking, biking, and jogging trails, borders the area to the north while Westheimer Road borders the south. The area also enjoys a close proximity to Lakeside and Royal Oaks country clubs, CityCentre and Town & Country.
